 Mani rimdu Festival 

The Mani Rimdu festival celebrated in the Chiwang monastery. The Chiwang Monastery is in the Solukhumbu distric after the full moon of autumn. On the first day of the festival, Lamas of the Monastery pray in the courtyard. The second day, you can see the Lamas dancing with brocade gowns and wonderful painted paper-mouth masks. Hundreds of Sherpas from all over the Khumbu attend the performance, as it is an important social occasion as well as an entertaining sight. Along with the serious and intricate dances the Buddhist Lamas also dramatize two absurd comic sequences that make the entire performance a grand and entertaining event. On the final day of Mani Rimdu the villagers assemble at the courtyards of the Monasteries & perform Sherpa dance together

 


 
Day 01:Arrival in kathmandu transfor to Hotel.

Day 02:Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.

Day 03:Kathmandu To Phaplu(by flight) trek to Mera.

Day 04:Mera trek to Kyanje hill to taksindu Monastry.

Day 05:Early in the morning worship in the Takaksindu  monastry and trek to Sinsary( one night  camping).

Day o6:Early in the morning to walk  half an hour sinsary hill and than beutiful views of Mt.Everest, Number Himal,Mera
peak and many many beautiful mountains views.

Day 07:Sinsary trek to Thupten choling monastery.

Day 08:Early in the morning worship in the Thupten choling monastery after than trek to Taktore Phedi.

Day 09:Taktore trek to Pk bhanjyang.

Day 10: Early in the morning to walk  top of Pk hill (to see beautiful mt. Everest,Gaurishankar himal,Numbur himal and many mountains view) back to Pk Bhanjyang.

Day 11: Pk Bhanjyang trek to Loding.

Day 12:Loding trek to Chiwang Gompa.

Day 13-14:Watch the Mani rimdu festival.

Day 15:Chiwang gompa trek to Phaplu.

Day 16:Phaplu to Kathmandu(by flight).

Day 17:Kathmandu fress day.

Day 18:Departure
